About Us

Jamie Philip is the Founder of Arran Advisors Ltd. Prior to establishing Arran Advisors, Jamie’s corporate title was Managing Director, Head of EMEA Futures and Options (F&O) Execution Sales at JP Morgan Securities Ltd.

During an 18-year career at JP Morgan, he also held management positions in specialist teams for Commodities and Fixed Income F&O sales.

Jamie gained international experience while spending two years in China (2008-2010) setting up the JP Morgan Futures joint venture, becoming the first international bank to trade on the China Futures Exchanges.

Prior to JP Morgan, Jamie started his career and gained client-side experience at Aspect Capital as a futures dealer before moving to the sellside with ABN Amro Futures.

Jamie holds a Masters of Arts (Hons) degree in Management Studies from the University of Aberdeen.
